1. What does the Gluttony archive mean to you?
A very much cherished, albeit small alternative to HPFF, first of all. It's a more mature, more broadminded one, which thankfully lacks the PWP/smut based universe of fanfiction.net. One immensely big advantage of GF is fast validation times. Thanks for that!!!
GF is also a place where I met a few very good friends of mine, although, I have to admit, I haven't been active on Temperance.
I would really love to see much more new members and much more new stories, maybe some other fandoms as well.
2. How many stories do you have on Gluttony?
It's almost unbelievable, but 21 pieces. Well, "Mizu" is, actually, superfluous, as it's part of "Elements" and I might just as well delete it.
3. Which is your most cherished story and why?
From my one-shots and drabbles, I think I would vote for Elements. I think it's a quite good example of compressing/displaying many powerful emotions in a few simple words. A close second is "Somewhere", which I wrote as a finger exercise in "Stream of consciousness" style. I think it turned out quite well; and as a matter of fact, I'm seriously thinking of expanding it!
From my multi-chaptered fics, my favourite is, without doubt, "Shadowlands". This is a highly controversial story with this Hermione/Harry/Luna love triangle. My characters have been called "angst-ridden", "lobotomized" etc. But, there's one thing most of my reviewers agree with and I'm proud of. I managed to create something unique in HP fanfiction. Little had I known, while I was watching the Japanese anime "5 centimeters per second", that my very poorly written one-shot with the same title, inspired by this movie, would grow into something similarly big and complex and emotional, ultimately bringing me this token of recognition I'm immensely proud of. Thanks to everyone who has been reading, reviewing, voting!
4. How did you start writing Fanfic?
A moment of certifiable insanity. I was browsing through the HPFF archives and stumbled upon phoenix_flames' story "Until the End". It's a one-shot featuring certain moments of the Battle for Hogwarts and Harry's killed by Voldemort. I thought "Well, what if Harry did get killed? Would there have been an Epilogue, nineteen years later?" This "What if?" factor was so strong, that the next thing I remember was validating "Aftermath of a Green Flash"... Since then, I've been roaming the limits of canon... See, I'm mostly writing AU; except two or three stories all others are non-canon compliant.
5. Where else can your stories be found?
Gluttony, of course (all my stories)
HPFF (all my stories)
fanfiction.net (not all my stories)
6. Given time, do plan on expanding your story collection?
Definitely. First of all, however, I will have to take care of my poor, neglected WIP's. There are four or five of them, some of them haven't been updated for, like, ages. And that's a shame. I don't feel like abandoning any of them, but at this point I do have a certain lack of inspiration.
7. Obviously, you have your own favourites, so who's story do you recommend and where can they be found?
Bella_Portia and her totally awesome "Wizard's Sabbath: Prologue" MA18+
Pookha and his wonderfully twisted "Dementor's First Kiss" MA18+
Barbara and her epic "Born To Fight" MA18+ (HPFF)
Holly_Ilex and her incredible Anna in "What comes around..." MA18+ and "Having Both is a Blessing" MA18+
And, finally, just about anything from Romina Stephanie's pen.
8. Is there any advice you'd give to fellow writers?
Write if you have inspiration. Give your story some rest if you don't. Participate in the forums; it's a fantastic way of meeting people, getting (and giving) help and feedback. Don't be afraid of experimenting with unusual story angles, pairings, writing techniques. If you have a momentary lapse of reason and feel you've just had it, write down your idea. Later you can always return to it, to expand that scene or dialogue into something beautiful.
I've been writing in hotel lobbies, airports, ferryboats; in fact, most of my better ideas had attacked me like this.
9. Besides Harry Potter fan fiction, have you written anything else?
One story from the "House, MD" fandom and one from the "Memoirs of a Geisha" fandom. Both can be found on my fanfiction.net account.
Oh yes. Currently working on my NaNovel, which is an attempt in the Sookie Stackhouse (Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries) universe. I silently hope GF will add this fandom in the foreseeable future...
10. Is there anything else you would like to add or say?
A few word of thanks. First of all to Elena for the massive amount of work around Gluttony and Temperance. Without her, the HP fandom would be a much less interesting place to be. Then, I wish to thank the staff, mods and validators. For everything. And last, but not least, thanks and hugs to holly_ilex and celticbard, my two best friends, without whom my stories wouldn't truly exist.

1. What does the Gluttony archive mean to you?
Gluttony is a great community of authors that I really respect and admire. It has that small "family" quality to it that I love.
2. How many stories do you have on Gluttony?
I have 14 completed stories and one WIP that I'm trying desperately to complete for NaNo.
3. Which is your most cherished story and why?
That's a tough question. I really love Reflection, because the father/son relationship was so sweet to write. I think it has to be In a Family Way, though, since it was my first completed story that was longer than a one shot.
4. How did you start writing Fanfic?
I got tired of waiting around for DH, and was searching "Harry Potter" online. Fanfiction came up, and I'd never heard of it before. I began reading, and remembered that I used to do a fair bit of writing in high school and college. I began to think I could do it, too, and gave it a try. Salvation Has a Name was my first completed story. I was hooked.
5. Where else can your stories be found?
HPFF and Fanfiction.net I use the same penname everywhere!
6. Given time, do plan on expanding your story collection?
I do. I eventually would like to branch out into original fiction. I would love to be published someday. A girl's gotta have her dreams, right?
7. Obviously, you have your own favourites, so who's story do you recommend and where can they be found?
Momotwins - http://www.gluttonyfiction.com/viewuser.php?uid=54
Pookha - http://www.gluttonyfiction.com/viewuser.php?uid=40
Reallyginny - http://www.gluttonyfiction.com/viewuser.php?uid=50
8. Is there any advice you'd give to fellow writers?
Write for yourself. Don't try to please others all the time. Don't worry about review counts. If you love it, write it. And never give up! You'll only regret it later.
9. Besides Harry Potter fan fiction, have you written anything else?
Not yet! But I do have something planned.
10. Is there anything else you would like to add or say?
I treasure the people I've met at Gluttony, and value the opportunity to share my writing with those people. Your feedback and encouragement has truly made me a better writer. Thanks so much!

1. What does the Gluttony archive mean to you?
Gluttony is a small, intimate archive that's filled with older, more serious authors, so the community is very supportive. As a validator there, it also means that I get to read stories that I normally wouldn't read on my own, which helps me to broaden my horizons.
2. How many stories do you have on Gluttony?
14. Wow. I had no idea that I had that many stories.
3. Which is your most cherished story and why?
"The Dementor's First Kiss" is my most cherished story because it was my first and my first plot bunny for HP fanfic. It's not my most well-written, but I think the plot is very original and well-thought out.
4. How did you start writing Fanfic?
I was upset with the epilogue for DH. I either wanted more or nothing at all. I always thought that there was some Harry/Luna chemistry coming from the end of OotP and wanted to explore that. I read a bit of fanfic before attemtping to write any of my own.
5. Where else can your stories be found?
HPFF and Writer's Critique Circle (Circle of Crones. I only have one story there and I haven't updated in a long time).
6. Given time, do plan on expanding your story collection?
Yes. I want to finish 'Bodies at Rest,' then the re-write of 'The Dementor's First Kiss,' then go back and fix 'Dudley and Lavender,' which has huge problems with POV.
7. Obviously, you have your own favourites, so who's story do you recommend and where can they be found?
My favourite story right now is 'Wizard's Sabbath: Prologue" by Bella_Portia which can be found here at Gluttony and at HPFF.
8. Is there any advice you'd give to fellow writers?
Stick with it and you'll work through it. I go through periods where I don't feel like writing, but when I come back to it, I feel great.
9. Besides Harry Potter fan fiction, have you written anything else?
I attempted to write an original fic for JulNo this year, but 'Bodies at Rest' took over my brain instead.
10. Is there anything else you would like to add or say?
I'm so glad to have found HP fanfic as it's helped bring out my creative side and I'm honoured that I've been chosen as Author of the Month. Thank you to everyone who's supported me by reviewing or betaing. Special thanks to reallyginny and Bella_Portia for betaing and being supportive when I've been down.

1. What does the Gluttony archive mean to you?
Gluttony is a wonderful, inspiring archive that is filled with talented authors from all over. I see it as a cozy home where I can read some wonderful stories and enjoy being able to share my own. The reviews that I have gotten on my stories at Gluttony are fantastic and the members are very supportive and encouraging.
2. How many stories do you have on Gluttony?
I currently have three though I focus mostly on my two main ones which are 'Jealousy Games and Deadly Consequences' and 'Man's Best Friend Times Three'.
3. Which is your most cherished story and why?
I would have to say that 'Jealousy Games and Deadly Consequences' is my most cherished because I spent a lot of time on that one. I wrote it back when Draco/Hermione ships were hardly in existence and wanted to make something that would be different from all the other stories. I put a lot of thought, ideas, emotion and soul into it because at the time, I was at a point where the only thing I had going for me in my life was this story. The first thirty or so chapters were written in the 'darkest and loneliest' parts of my real life. This story was my escape into a world where I could freely express myself through characters and plots. It worked out quite well and as I went on, this story really came together and turned out better than I ever thought possible.
4. How did you start writing Fanfic?
I first started writing it in the late 1990's and mostly because I was into anime. My first intro to fanfiction of any sort was that of Sailor Moon fanfiction. From there on I went on to write and discover other fandoms and about a year or so later, I started to read about Harry Potter. At first, I wasn't sure I could pull off a decent Harry fanfic, so I decided to go into a new direction and use Hermione as the main character instead because I felt more comfortable with her as the main. Then throwing Draco into the mix making it my first attempt at a HP fanfic. It was my Dramione novel 'Jealousy Games and Deadly Consequences'.
5. Where else can your stories be found?
My stories can be found at Gluttony and at HPFF where I first started out. Since I have so many chapters of 'Jealousy Games and Deadly Consequences' it takes a bit to get them up at Gluttony but I am working on it. My plan is to update there more as I get time. I'm also interested in posting my stories in other HP archives as I find them. :)
6. Given time, do plan on expanding your story collection?
I do plan on extending my story collection though my time is limited lately as my real life has a lot going on with having a new baby due in January and moving to a bigger place. Still, I haven't lost my passion for writing and probably won't for a long time. I'm planning on taking on some more writing projects in the near future including the sequel to 'Jealousy Games and Deadly Consequences'.
7. Obviously, you have your own favourites, so who's story do you recommend and where can they be found?
There are so many great authors on Gluttony and HPFF that I would be here all day listing them. At the moment, I really like stories that are Post-Hogwarts or that leave off right after the end of Deathly Hallows excluding the Epilogue. I also love AU stories.
8. Is there any advice you'd give to fellow writers?
I guess the only advice I can say is if writing is your passion, go with it. If you find yourself burning out, stop, step away, give yourself time to breathe and then go back when it feels right. If you have your heart set on writing a novel, then write it. When you write it, feel it. If you can really feel the emotion in your story, most of your readers will too. Write for yourself first, your readers second. This may sound bad but if you aren't writing a story for yourself because it's what you want to read, then you aren't likely going to be able to finish it. Pace yourself, and get to know your characters through outlines of them, the plots and the story. Be confident in yourself and you will make it. One of the best feelings that I have ever felt was that feeling of accomplishment once the story was done.
9. Besides Harry Potter fan fiction, have you written anything else?
I have a few original stories along with a series that I wrote years ago. I also enjoy writing poetry from time to time.
10. Is there anything else you would like to add or say?
I just want to say a big Thank you to everyone who has read any of my stories, left me reviews, and voted for me for the P.I. Awards.
I truly appreciate the support and encouragement that I have received. I've been able to overcome writer's block several times now thanks to the many readers and writers who have given me motivation and support when I needed it most. I am grateful to be apart of Gluttony and share my stories with everyone here. Thank you so much for making me Featured Author for November.
