A short reason why you are nominating: It's always hard to find a well-written Snape story set in the time around the Potter's death, but this fits the bill. SP's characterizations are believable in an AU story.

A short reason why you are nominating: His portrayal of Godric and Salazar's relationship resonates with bitterness and regret. Shades of Tom Riddle's hatred and prejudice are seen here, so ugly and deforming. It's very original and sheds light on a beginning JK only hints at.

A short reason why you're nominating Truthfully, I have only read one 'Founders' story - this one - and the fact that she had Sean Connery as Godric on the banner, grabbed my attention . . .then her story grabbed my brain and took me back to that era and answered a lot of questions, which made the whole evolution of Hogwarts and Harry's world, more real. Excellent.
