OMG, you can't stop there!!!!
I loved reading from Draco's point of view, you set the scene up really well, and I could just see him picturing Ginny in his mind, playing with, who he thought, was her son, filing that away in his memory...It was just the sweetest thing!!
Ginny's anger towards Draco was just heart wrenching. I had tears in my eyes cause I could feel her pain. Bit *sigh* that kiss...enough to send anyone's heart soaring!!
When Draco walked away, I was just gutted, thinking nooooo! But thewn he gave her another chance :) Then you had me almost crying again, because she wasn't there and it was like he lost her forever again.
Then I was clapping, cause she was there and I did cry...knowing that it cwasn't really over...but then you ended it with "I choose you" and awwwww, I was just so happy...only, now I want more...the fluffy passion.....
Author's Response: Elena, Thank you so much not only for my first review on this story (and the first one on Gluttony YAY) but also for being such a champion for this series...Without you I would never have continued it much less made it a trilogy. This one was truly for you! (and me because I adore this ship as much as you!!) Who knows what the future will hold but for the moment...this shall remain a trilogy! lol
Elena's Response: You're breaking my heart!! It can be a trilogy, but with a fluffy one-shot epilogue
Angel's Response to Elena's Response Stop that! You will make plot bunnies breed if you keep that up!! lol Just be happy that that this story finally got finished LOL it took forever for me to finish! :D
Elena's Response to Angel's Response: Oh, but I am happy *smods and feeds the bunny* But I can see wedding decorations, hear the bells ringing, the joy and the love just ooozzzzing from them both...*sigh*...
What a fabulous story :) I loved the beginning with the students recognising the names if the trio. Make you understand that they all became famous :)
But I totally cracked up laughing when I read this:
Oh no, Hermione, I beat you.’ Ron interrupted quietly, his ears now redder than ever. ‘I used to play ‘Harry Potter’ with Ginny when we were kids. You know, we’d pen scars onto our foreheads and-’. Both Harry and Hermione burst out laughing and Ron scowled to himself.
I was laughing that much, my girls ran over to see what I was laughing about, so I told them and they didn't get it, so I IMed it to Jessi and she laughed!..lol..That was classic!!!
But then you ended it of on a....Happy, yet sad moment. A time that we all wished they could stay for a bit longer and not have to face the evil that was upon them.
Over all, a fantistic piece, I really enjoyed reading this :)
This was terribly sad! I think a parents worst nightmare. But writing Luna from a child to an adult, made things even sader. You made her angry at her father for betraying Harry and for what she was going through in order to help him, but her father was only doing what he thought right so it really was a no-win situation.
It was upsetting that her anger lasted so long, that she shattered everything they had by not believing anymore. Although, perhaps it was just her way of coming into her own.
The end was just....gut wrenching. In a way, you made what he belived come true after all. Perhaps Heaven is his Montraipsie and he just doesn't know it. Either way, very touching and brilliantly written. You never fail to amaze me :)
You really, really, really show how angsty you can be with this piece.
You portrayed Andromeda's grief so well, that you had me in tears. Her frustrations about raising a child and not her own was heart wrenching. Although she loves her grandchild and would never hurt him, trying to deal with her loss and be happy enough to care for a child has to be hard, especially when that child reminds you so much of the person you lost.
I loved it, and in a way, I could relate :) An excellent job here, you are really starting to show how wonderful you can write when you dig in deep enough and evoke those dreaded emotions and bring them to the surface!! It is stories like this one that remind me why I admire your writing so much and why you inspire me.
Oh Jessi!!! How horribly sad, yet fantasticly brilliant!!
I LOVED the darkness that surrounded this story. Although, the underlying meaning is about Love, not every love story has a happy ending and for Severus and Lily, it never was either.
I only found one mistake and that was having Severus there when Peter betrayed them. Although the scene itself was fantastic and I loved reading Sev's anger towards Peter for giving up the Potter's, but if Sev knew that Peter was the traitor, then he would of said as much and Peter would never been made the Secret Keeper.
Other then that...Just wonderful. I had tears in my eyes when Dumbledore sent word of what happened and I loved your last line.
"And he knew, then, that the only time he would ever see her again would be as a reflection in her son's emerald eyes."
That is so true, and sets up the story as to why Sev despises Harry from the moment he lays eyes on him at Hogwarts...*sigh*...Just wonderful!!!
Oh Ron!!!!
I remember reading this oner too..*giggles*...I do have to love Ron, because he didn't really mean any harm to Harry and did stand up for him in the end. But I still can't help but feel sorry for him. Too proud to take Harry's money, but desperate enough to sell Harry's story to a woman who wants nothing more than to trash Harry's name!!
Bless Ron, you really have to want to huggle him in this story!!
I remember reading this and it is just as brilliant as when I first read it.
Lily's hints to Sirius, wanting him to look at her, to notice her. It was a game, but a serious one. Naturally, Sirius gives in, what can he do when the girl he loves pleads for him?
But in the end, he knows the truth. Lily belongs to Jmaes, even if she never felt the same way towards James as she did Sirius, it is still wrong to move in on a mates woman and although he did slip up, in the end, Sirius gave up his heart for his mate, his brother! So very touching!
The ending is what I love the most, the love is still there, even though things changed and she married James. Using her own words back at her :) I really loved this!!!
*blinks* I'm looking for the 'Next' button...Will it magically appear??? There HAS to be more!! You can't just leave it here!!! I wanna know if their friendship goes just as strong as it started...I want to know if Albus will grow up and get a pair of....
Kick me next time if I don't read your stories. I'm serious!! Poke my eye ball out, hex me into the next universe...doi something to wake my lazy arse up and READ your stories!!!!
I loved this, I thought everything about it was fantastic. You described everything so well, that I felt Rose's embarrasment and frustrations when Albus ignored her and Hagrid pointed out the empty seat. I felt her annoyance with being stuck with a boy that seemed nasty.
I felt Rose's excitement as the castle came into view and she finally got to see what all the fuss is about...But most of all, I felt Rose's connection to Scorpius. Even before she knew who he was, she felt comfortable with the boy she thought annoying, she felt so comfortable, in fact, that she forgot that she was holding his hand...It was just too sweet and adorable and I wanted to squish both of them into a big hug for being so cute!!
What a brilliant story, though, I still want more!!!
LOL
You know, no matter how many times I read this story...I just ADORE this chapter. I love the fact that Hermione can't go down gracefully...Why should she?? But most of all..I LOVE how she gets back at Ron. It just makes everything so wonderful...I LOVE THIS STORY!!!!!!
You know what I adore just as much as this story? The way you write Dumbledore. He is...Well, him...I always struggle with writing his character and yet, here I am reading, thinking that you somehow jumped into JKR's brain and now know the secret that is 'Writing' Dumbledore!'
Again, I just love Hermione's inability to hold her tongue...Though, If I were meeting James and Sirius, I'd think I'd just go the 'pounce'...LOL..So, Hermione is dealing with the situation very well.
Re-reading has bought back so many memories and reasons why I will forever be Complicated's best fan. This is seriously such a wonderful story and I'm enjoying it all over again.
*blorks* Post more please!!!
*pokes* You can't leave this here!!!!
What's wrong with you??? So emotional and I'm in tears too. Why didn't Charlie just say what he was thinking earlier when they were in Romania? Why hadn't Hermione admitted how she felt the day after New Years??...Why are you making this so sad????
WRITE MORE!!!!!!!
You hate me, don't you? You hate me that much that you'll leave me with ANOTHER cliffy!!!
Charlie in this, is just...*sigh*...Wonderful. Although he still doesn't quite know what's going to happen, even though he has accepted his child, he's being so sweet and understanding.
I hope that you make a happy ending...The waiting is killing me and I just wanna know how everyone's going to react??? Ginny seems to already know, as does Arthur, but what about the others???...update again soon...LOL..I know I say that, but I mean it!!! I must know what happens!!!
I love this Juls!! I love the emotions behind the characters, I love how I'm misled in who Lina has/had feelings for and I loved, LOVED that Sev was there and Lina understood him and he understood her.
The memories were just sweet, but also a reminder of the life that Lily and James had, even when reading about the wedding, I still thought that Lina had feelings for James!
The end was just too sad, but sweet. Admitting that Lily knew how Lina felt, just not in 'that' way...was sweet and Sev knew...cause he felt it too. But letting Snape tell Harry and for Harry to visit her...it was just heart breaking.
Harry would never know either of what Lily really meant to Lina, but she'd always be remembered. Simply fantastic and this story really shows the brilliance you have when it comes to writing!!!
Awwwww! This was so cute and just so wonderful of Harry. I also just adored Draco in this story too...see, it's not just a 'bad boy' thing...Even you gave him a heart!! ;)
Author's Response: Yep, I think that Draco could see a direct line in how his family used to treat Dobby to how Dobby died at the hands of one of his relatives, in his own house. I never thought that Draco was truly evil, more taught badly by an evil father and perhaps an evil mother.
see above, the review did something weird
I feel sorry for poor little Nyah!!! Reminds me of Harry at the Dursley's :(
Author's Response: Hi Elena! So Exciting! You\'re my first reviewer! :) \r\n\r\nYes... Nyah\'s story unintentionally parallels Harry\'s in some ways... but not all. :) Watch for the next chapter to be up soon! \r\n\r\nThanks again!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
I adored this story! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
I really loved the game, the questions and taunting...I was expecting the ol' cliched where they are at school and they really hate each other...But as it turned out, they are married and its just a game they play!!! I was grinning the WHOLE time I was reading...then laughing my butt off at the end with the elves!!!
I can see why this story won awards, its very well written, funny and a ship I'm totally in love with!! Thank you again for sharing this with us here at Gluttony!
No, no, no, no, no...You can't leave me hanging like this????...I need to know what happens and if Hermione and Draco get together!!! Ahhhhhh....UPDATE!!!!
Author's Response: Okay, I\'ll post a few more chapters!
OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I'm reading as I validate...but OMG!!!
Blaise and now Ron? But who can it be? The elves? Or has Voldy not left the building???
I can't believe this..I'm trying all my Cludo skills right now, but I just can't get it...Ron, with the Knife in Blaise's room?? But thenwhere IS Ron??? gah! Okay, I'm reading on...but OMG! I SO love this...
OMG! Harry shot them??? did he get them? or just Pansy? Gah.,..I'm so intrigued and I can't figure out who the murderer is...thats killing me most right now.
Author's Response: LOL! Then I did my job... I tried so hard to keep the killer\'s identity a secret!
Oooo okay, so I can think of two people the killer could be...one is probably not a viable one, but the other???....
I have to read on :)
OMG! Okay, the killer was not who I thought it was after all, so THAT shocked me.
I don't wanna say too much here, because if other readers check your reviews before reading, then I'll end up ruining the ending for them.
But what a fantastic twist...Well, really its a triple twist!! But what I was kept guessing and what I guessed you spun around on me and I was just blown away by the ending.
This is a very 'gripping' story and I'm so glad I had the chance to read it :) I enjoyed every moment, and still can't believe the way it ended. It was shocking, yet satisfying and...I don't know how else to describe this...It's fantastic!!!
*beautiful banner by the amazing Infairi at says!*
15-year-old Melody Pepperstein has no luck with...well anything. Her misadventures with boys, the law and life in general are the constant topics of her friends' jokes. She tries to simply live her life and have fun, but Mel seems to have a knack for trouble. Read her halarious story in Finding Luck.
hehehehe...Errr was the A/N ended in your name or directed at me as I'm Marissa?
Author's Response:
Haha no it's my name as well. Nice to meet another Marissa!
I really loved this story!!!
Yes, I'm HUGE on romance, but this is an actual STORY!
The way that Ginny, Luna , Draco and Blaise all became friends is kinda unique. Some may say cliched, but I think you found a way to bring this foursome together in a way that is so believable that it might have just inspired me to continue one of my fics!!!
Seriously, its almost like Draco and Blaise awakened the inner prankster within Ginny, a trait she no doubt had anyway from her brothers.
But with Luna's quirkiness, it all seemed to fit. Then Ginny's concern for Draco as he slept to missing him to the kiss...*sigh*...Just brilliant!!! I love this!!!
Awwww :)
I thought the prank was brilliant and very original, made me laugh.
But Leo's gifts were just so sweet. Makes you wanna slap Ron for being such a git!!
Awwwwwww
I never ever thought of this ship before, its always Sirius/Lily.
But how sweet, yet sad that regardless of which way we write things...Sirius never gets the girl...Well, not in these kinds of stories.
Again, you show how simply brilliant you are dear, I'll never stop being a fan girl of yours. Another fantastic piece of yours!!!
