I like that this is like Harry's story, but I'd like to see a bit more of a difference, even if it's showing more of her emotion or thoughts. This just kind of seems like a summary of what happened in the first few chapters of the first story, which is nice, but I'd like to see a bit more. It can be changed a bit with her being a girl, and I really think the Dursleys would be a bit more lenient to her because she's a girl. If not, there could still be some differences or some different aspects of the plot. I'm sure it will become more different as it goes on, but now it just seems like it's Harry Potter with a name changed. I do like the concept of the story though!

I love what if stories and I'm definitely interested in seeing where you take this. It was nice to read abou the birth of Lily and James's baby, but it's sad that we had to go through their death again. :( It's interesting that Dumbledore even said anything about Neville since he wouldn't really fit with the prophecy at all. It would have to be Arielle.

So far this seems too similar to Harry's story. Not a lot has been different. True, the Dursleys would probably have the same attitude about having her there, but I think they would be less likely to physically abuse her ... What would they do instead? What would she do differently because she is a girl? Obviously, Dudley is not going to have as mcuh of an influence on whether or not other girls will befriend her. Just some thoughts.

I think this is an interesting concept - James and Lily having a girl instead of a boy. It makes sense to have the prophecy referring to a girl, also. I think that Dumbledore wouldn't even mention Neville Longbottom at all if it was a girl mentioned in the prophecy. Maybe it could be left kind of generic so that it could be either one, if you want it that way. I'm interested to see what Arielle will do.

I always wanted 'Harry' to be a girl and I was surprised that Rowling, being female herself, wrote the main character as a boy. I am looking forward to Severus' reaction to Arielle. I'm a huge Snape fanatic (I'm sure you can tell if you read my stories). I be checking back with this story.
