Chapter: Chapter 1
This was lovely. I think Harry had a right to just go on with his life after all the hardships he'd faced, but after a time it is just his nature to notice that wrongs in the world and want to do something about it. After having such a noble purpose for most of his life, I think he would begin to feel without purpose if he didn't find a new cause to crusade for, or some evil to crusade against. This is well done, Victoria. I really liked it.
Author's Response: Thanks so much babe. Yes, I could see Harry going into Muggle politics after this. He is not the kind of guy who would sit there and do nothing. Of course, I wrote this quickly because the true story of the actor who played Marcus Belby in HBP just got to me. Knife crime seems to have reached truly intolerable levels in my country and I just felt I had to get it out of my system somehow and to offer a tribute from us HP obsessives.
Thanks so, so much x

Beautiful, Morgana! Really, it's a lovely tribute to a young man cut down in his youth. I really like the way you managed to bring the real life happenings into this fictional world. You did a good job of merging the two. “True immortality can only be achieved by those who would forever be remembered fondly.” That is a brilliant line. Very well done, indeed.
Author's Response: I've been so touch by all these reviews, honestly! I knew I wanted to write something for him, celebrating his life and offering hope for his loved ones but I didn't quite know how to do it. Then, this idea just came to me. Your support here and in HPFF, readers and reviewers, has made me feel as if I have done something worthwhile, no matter that I'm not a professional writer. xxx

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed yet! I was trying to work out what to say.
This story is amazing. It really, truly makes you want to get up and grab a kleenex. The last paragraph was my favorite, and my favorite line was this:
'So, he had died trying to save others! This was just so unfair, so uncalled for, so intolerable!'
That is so true. No one should have to die because they did the right thing.
Great job, Morgana. This is one of my favorite stories.
Author's Response: My babe, thanks so much for collaborating in this. Your story is
beautiful too. I got so upset when I heard that I just couldn't sit
there and do nothing. Ok, I can do very little, but maybe someone close
to him may read our stories and feel comforted by the fact that we felt
for them so strongly and that we took the trouble to write something and
hopefully, also, raise awareness, which I believe the family want, for
what I've read.
I'm extremelly flattered also that you think it was well done. xxx

Wow, that was a touching story. Thank you for writing it, Morgana. It was a nice tribute and I like how you had it added to Harry Potter. It was kind of nice to see his whole reaction to what happened, even though it was fiction. I really liked this!
Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked it. I wasn't sure exactly what to write and then the idea of getting Harry's reaction came to my mind. I'm really, really impressed about how people have reacted to this story, actually.rnrnThanks so much.

This was truly beautiful, Morgana. I liked how you interwoved the real story into the Potterverse, making it that much more heartwrenching.
I loved how you've had Harry's thoughts written into this story. The irony of it all. He's the Boy who lived- and now Marcus (and Colin) will sadly be the boys who didn't.
Hopefully there is a 'Harry' in the Muggle world who can speak out and change things- making people more aware of what violence does.
Great job, Morgana.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for this. I went pretty mad when I heard this story and I just knew I wanted to write something. At first I didn't have a clue how to approach this though, so I'm glad that my plot worked out ok. Harry, yes, I can be a bit like him, the saviour complex, so I guess his reaction was the easiest for me to write. I was almost having tentations to get him to run for Mayor of London lolrnrnThanks so much!
