I really like the curious, questioning style of this piece. It, as you may have intended, gets the reader to really think about what you're asking. War is cruel and terrible and cold - and the people who fight for the lives of others deserve anything but to die. You wrote this wonderfully, it's a great dedication. :)

It's beautiful. Sad, heartwrenching and beautiful. It's the "unsung heroes" that are the ones who get left behind, except for those that loved them. Evil is everywhere, though, not just in Great Brittania. It seems as if all we ever hear about are the evil, awful things that happen, but there's still good in the world, as well, hope is not lost. As long as there are those who will stand up against the evil, heroes will continue to be born.

I will not flame you for an outpouring of thoughts... I bow humbly to your bravery in doing so in such a public manner. Writing from your heart is the single most important thing with this style in my opinion. Well done.
