Sir Cadogan is a bit, well, thick. He cannot take a hint if he's hit about the head and body with it. I love the personality you infuse into the Fat Lady here. She longs for more of a life, knows that she's not the most friendly of portraits, but does the best that she can. Her sense of humor is great. Good story!

Author's Response: emma = fail. -dies- I can't believe I never responded to this. Anyway, thank you sooo much for the review! it made me happy. <3

you shold write more often .. ya good at it, but more importantly you should get more sleep.. lengthy stories are also nice .. ya ken?

Author's Response: It's better a short story than a long. rambly, pointless one. And I do write very often! You just don't read it, is all. Thanks for the review though, Twitty xx

*wants to say "Great job, Emma!" but can't*

*giggles and hiccoughs simultaneously*

*hurries away blushing, but not before rating 10/10* :D

Author's Response: *loves revies in asterixes*

*giggles at the review*

*wants to say 'Thank you!' but can't*

*giggles some more*

*exits, still giggling*

Oh, I loved it... Is it bad that I hear Dawn French whenever I read about the fat lady portrait?

Author's Response: *Googles Dawn French* Oh! She's the Vicar of Dibley! I'm glad that FL reminds you of her... although I'm not sure why :P Thanks for the review Jen!

What a great song to now have stuck in my head ;o).  How you manage to get inside the mind of a painting, I just don't know, but you do it very well, lol.  I laughed at all the epithets with the founders' names, Holy Helga, Good Godric, Sodding Salazar...what are you going to come up with for Ravenclaw?  Or did I miss that one?  I wonder what happens between year 4 and year 7 that changes her mind about him?  I want more VIRUS!  We don't get too much of them, lol.  I love how you describe the feeling of being trapped, only being able to travel amongst the paintings in the castle.  How after hundreds of years it gets predictable and boring.  You "paint a picture" if you will (haha...pun intended) with your words.  Loved it!

Author's Response: The reason I put off responding to this Taryn, is because I was going to Virus-ify this for you, but when I tried... I couldn't do it. I'm so sorry! Thanks for the review though! I missed a founder's name? Ah, Ruddy Rowena! I wonder what happens between years 4 and 7 too... the idea of FL and Cadogan on such... friendly terms has me shuddering. I love corny puns... that one made my day. I had Goodbye Yellow Brick Road stuck in my head all day, and then when I tried to get it out.... I got Candle in the Wind! What is this with me and Elton John?

Huggles,
