Hehe.. I love this! I thought this chapter was great, and I'm really loving how you're characterizing Parvati! I love the sarcasm and the way she compares herself to her sister. Really, I would have never thought about reading (or writing for that matter) a story about Parvati, and I think you've done a great job with it so far. I'm looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Yay! Thank you so much for the complements, Jamie! Parvati's characterization comes (sadly) from my own personality. Admittedly, my issues aren't QUITE so dramatic as hers, but still :P Hopefully I'll get this version up to speed with HPFF's, so more is on its way!

Ooooh...Gubby, I love the characterization you've got going on here, and not just Parvati. I can just see all these characters (from Vicky all the way throught to Ms. Davies) in here. I can picture the scene at the Davies' house and the look that must be on Padma's face. You never cease to amaze me, Gubby!

I love the voice in this so far. I really like how you've made Parvati and I'm really looking forward to reading more. I don't think I've ever read a story just focused on Parvati, so this was really interesting, especially getting her culture into the story. I'm looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Parvati's voice is certainly unique to say the least ;) Sadly, I haven't read a Parvati fic either; poor thing, such an interesting character and yet considered an airhead! :( But I'm glad you're enjoying this! Thanks for reviewing! ^_^

This is a great first chapter and I'm looking forward to reading more. I almost feel sorry for Parvati... not quite, but almost.

I'm so glad I've gotten the chance to read this...now you must post the rest over here as well! You've got the sarcastic heroine down pat, lol. I like how you have Parvati as a gossip columnist and Romilda with her. I think Romilda gets a bad rap a lot of the time. Very well written and I look forward to reading more of it.

Author's Response: Yeah, I really have to, don't I? :P The sarcastic heroine is an all too common feature in my stories, I think. :/ I love Parvati and Romilda, though here the former is despicable and the latter a nuisance. Thanks for reviewing regardless, dear! *hugs*
