Very touching, short and  sweet. Nicely done.

I so love your Fred and George stories. This is so moving, and I love how Fred is so afraid and reluctant to leave George. The fact that Fabian and Gideon come for him and know the pain he feels is so touching. I love the ending. "What kind of a name is Roxanne, then?" The humor doesn't leave them, does it? Wonderful!

Author's Response: I don't think the humor will ever leave Fred & George! Thank you very much!

That was beautiful!  I don't cry easily over stories, but this definitely made me well up...Fred's anguish at being separated from George was written so evocatively.  And your decision to make Fred's uncles twins was absolutely the perfect touch on this lovely story.  Wonderful writing and the flow was effortless.  Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the wonderful review!

Wow! I love this! It's very bittersweet, and when I finished I kind of thought "aww" and wanted to cry at the same time. You wrote it so wonderfully - I never cease to find it amazing what a good writer can do with such a short amount of words. A wonderful piece of work!

It was good to read this story again over here.  It still makes me sad and happy at the same time.  Sad because it reminds me that Fred is gone, and that George has to move on without him, and yet happy that Fred will be able to keep watch and help guide him.  And you manage to keep Fred in character despite the turmoil he's in.  That last line "What kind of name is Roxanne, then?" cracks me up!!   Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks Taryn! I'm glad you think Fred was in character.

What a WONDERFUL little story.

And I think your reassuances to Fred from his uncles were just enough without getting maudlin.

As Albus always said, "It's the next big adventure", so at least Fred is getting with the program. . . heaven help Gordon and Fabian. (Sorry about the pun)

HE!HE!HE!
