Ohemeffgee, Elizabeth, you are a genius in everything and I can never hope to compare to you, because who else can possibly write WEEDS of all things and make them relatable and real at the same time, and get me marveling at the social heirarchy of a GARDEN, and thinking about death from a dandelion's POV and... *faints from the horrible run-on*
This is a review I've never left before. Rambley, yes, but... *head spins* It's crazy ridiculously pensive, not hilarious nor adorable as Blaire said. If anything, it's bittersweet. I'm not even sure it's sweet. Just horribly heart-wrenching and makes me more distressed about death than before - but that's nothing new :P The characterization of each flower was thoughtful and pained me to see progress, how they all die alone... *sighs* Stunning. And I apologize for that run-on up there. Yet another reason I should try to compose myself more before typing in this box. I invariably end up confusing myself and making me look a lot stupider tthan I am. ^_^

Liz! *dies* This is hilarious/adorable/incredible/sad. Mostly, though, it's incredible. How on earth did you - wow. I'm SO sorry for not having reviewed before. This is the best characterization of anything non-human I've ever seen written - and you write each flower amazingly. This should be the start of a new genre - Plant Lit. I swear to you. It's gorgeous, dear!

OMG...Liz. This is brilliant. I mean...bloody brilliant! The feelings and emotions I got from a flower...a WEED, amazing. Really, if flowers could think/feel/speak...THIS is what it would be like. WOW!
Author's Response: Coming from you this means so bloody much to me! :D I'm thrilled you liked it and that you felt the emotion. Thank you for reading and reviewing, Taryn, you're the best! I...I don't even know what else to say. This review is simply amazing. *loves Taryn* Thank you.

Wow, Liz! I never thought I'd love reading a story about a flower so much! Really.. this was awesome. I love the conversation, and I loved that ending. You really got me emotional about the dandelion, and thinking about things I'd never think about. It was really nice and original and a wonderful story. I loved it! Keep writing.. I love your work! :)
Author's Response: I never thought I would actually write something like this. it was supposed to be a 100word drabble, but it turned into more on its own accord. :) Thank you so much for reviewing, Jamie. *huggles* you're lovely!

oh, and i forgot... you are also the queen of cool endings. i am serious, your endings always wrap up the story in the end, and i loved this particular end -- they don't die but just go to sleep *huggles* please, do keep writing, and know you have an undying fan in me.. seriously, you won't get rid of me any time soon, lol :))
Author's Response: I wouldn't even like to get rid of such a fan as yourself! That ending actually came to me when I first wrote the first draft of it in bed before going to sleep. I ended up with my face plastered to my notebook, so I just wrote that flowers go to sleep, which later fit into the ending, and I kind of liked that. :) Aah, thank you so much!

Chapter: The Secret Life of Flowers
zomg, liz, wow, you are.. amazing!! that story, i love it, i more than love it, and it's dedicated to ME!!! *grinning idiotically*
okay, i'll calm down now, to tell you everything on my mind. brace yourself. so, i would have sworn that english was your native language, did i not know where you were from! and it's not just because of.. you know, the vocabulary you use, it's mainly the flow, and i keep noticing it in all of your works -- the story flows so effortlessly, that you can't stop reading it, because it sounds like music *wub* it sounds like one whole piece, not separate ones. you know how stories have those redundant parts that you skip over, your stories don;t have that, everything is connected, and everything is necessary to keep the whole intact. yay!!!! this has got to be my fave part about your writing!! you are the queen of the flow!! *huggles*
what else.. i cannot believe you just characterized flowers, it's amazing how they sound like.. real.. you know, creatures with thoughts and memories lol (btw, i loved the theory about the memories).
and, honestly, the whole oneshot sounds like a fable, a beautiful piece of art, rather poetic and endearing.. you are very good at this!! don't let any writer's bblocks stop you, and yay!! it's dedicated to me *dances* *blushes* *stops babbling* :P
and i like that your sentences are varied, short and long, and that helps the flow. :)) now a few typos and i am done!! *grins*
so, marvel at, not in; blubbering away those wisdoms away - one away has to go; let any hand rip me out, not to rip me out; and this is it...
zomg, thank you for this wonderful present, it's the coolest piece of fiction i have read lately, let alone being presented with. *glompsquishes liz* thanks, wonderful little bonc, keep writing, and know i will surely read it all :)))
Author's Response: Since this was for you I am incredibly pleased that you like it. See, it was supposed to be a 100 words long drabble and look what it turned into? :D But I enjoyed writing it a lot. I have this naive kind of nature, believing everything to be alive and something more than it just appears to be. And boy do I love flowers. And yes, it's dedicated to YOU!!! Queen of flow? *dies* Thank you for that, sometimes it just comes naturally, the flow I mean. And Ms. Dandelion really made it kind of easy. And I cannot believe I characterised them as well, lol, but I've had this thought a while ago, when spring started...what with tulip the gentleman, daffodil the beauty and dandelion the silly creature. They were all in front of my house, so the image kind of stuck with me. And thanks for all the typos, i fixed them!
And Lyn, I do love you, I do!! Thank you for this amazing review, 'zoomg'.
