That was absolutely gorgeous. It was bittersweet (mostly bitter, I admit) and very powerful, even in so few words. I'm not sure who this is about - I didn't look at the list of characters and I don't actually know if you specified them - although I have a feeling. I really love it, especially the last couple of paragraphs. Very good, Marissa!

I like it. The in-between, the sigh of relief captured amid the anxiety. It's a little blunt for my usual tastes, and there are some grammatical issues that make me twitch, but it's not bad, really. Very forlorn, nostalgic.
