Chapter: What Have We Done?
Well, I had to clamp my hand over my mouth, AGAIN, with the line: "That man couldn’t find his ass with two hands and a flashlight, I swear."
HYSTERICAL!
As was all the 'advice' that both sides were giving Harry and Ginny. Isn't that always the way, you get the bad news, not the good news, unless it's added at the end, when you're already shell-shocked.
Okay, one more chapter and then I'm getting some sleep1
Author's Response: I am so glad you enjoyed this! I remember all the horror stories that people told me when I was expectng my first. New parents love to spread the desperation around, don't they? And I couldn't help but let Audrey get her digs in on Percy. He still deserves a couple of good ones for being such a prat. Thanks for the great review!

Chapter: Conflicting Appointments
That went well, don't you think? No structural damage to St. Mungo's, so that's a good thing! HE!HE!HE!
I really think Draco will be happy with his wife, if he'd just learn to let it go...but the same could be said of Harry...and Ron.
And you were right about Harry getting to him first, 'cause GInny would have blaste him halfway to the Leaky Cauldron!
HE!HE!HE!
Aw, jeez, now they're off to see Molly. Merlin help them!
Author's Response: I think it's all still a little too fresh for them all to be totally over it yet. Draco's wife is tough stuff, and he respects her because she demands respect. He would be bored with a total doormat of a wife. He needs someone that can handle him, and I think Asteria can do that job. Ginny might have left enough to put in a matchbox, in her mental state. And Molly is still Molly, so they need all the help they can get.

Chapter: Battles and Bat Bogeys
Well, it's good to see that George is healing and getting on with his life; business AND love life!
Ron reacted as I expected, as did Hermione.
Yeah, being pregers makes you nuts, and VERY moody. It's second only to menopause, when you make being preggers look like a stroll in the park!
Voice of experienc here!
HE!HE!HE!
Author's Response: I just HAD to write George in there. I am a bit of a Weasley twin fanatic. I wanted to show how he's finally picking up and moving on, and maybe even in a better place than Harry at the moment. Ginny is going a bit nuts, but she really can't help it. Don't talk to me about menopause, I may go through early and I am not looking forward to it!:)

Chapter: Surprises All Around
It was about ten minutes until two in the morning ( insomnia attack ) when I read the line about Harry fainting. Good thing I have fast reflexes, as I was able to clamp my hand over my mouth to stop the bark of laughter that ALMOST made it out and would have shocked my hubby out of a sound sleep. (he's still snoring- so it's ok)
That was a cute way for Harry to tell them, and true to fomr, Ron was CLUELESS!
And Draco's wife is a Healer. perfect. ( Isn't her name Astoria? oh, nevermind)
Onward to the next chapter!
HE!HE!HE!
Author's Response: Yeah, I found that JK spelled her name two ways on her website. I like Asteria (still pronounced Astoria) better for some reason. Probably because it looks like 'hysteria', which is what her name causes in this chapter. Glad you like it!

Chapter: A Change of Plans
That was adorable
"He was cute, but infuriatingly thick at times. " Amen, sister!
So, I'm off to the next chapter to see how it goes. I'm assuming it does turn green, otherwise, there wouldn't been so many more chapters!
HE!HE!HE!
Author's Response: I think being cute saves his behind more times than he'd like to count. I'm glad you are enjoying this. Thanks for the review, even if it does help you get ahead of me in the Review-a-thon! LOL!

Chapter: Surprises All Around
Your humor is lovely in this. Thw announcement had me laughing - and the reaction, fab.
I love your choice of midwife also. Sure to shake things up, isn't it?
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I really wanted Harry and Ginny to tell Hermione and Ron first, but I needed a way to get Ron going. Asteria was a brainwave I had, and that choice is bound to cause a few problems. I appreciate the review so much!

Chapter: A Change of Plans
A delightful beginning to this story. It had me laughing -- poor Harry. What is about to be unleashed in his life.
Author's Response: He has no clue, really. I am glad you are liking it so far. Thanks for reviewing.

Chapter: Chapter 6-Coming Home
This is very touching. I think the idea of the house is great, and that extra touch of Neville's is wonderful. I think it might mean something extra that he hung the portraits for Harry, seeing as they both, in a way, lost their parents. Was that what you were thinking as well? Either way, its a very meaningful touch to this. I'm loving this story more and more - can't wait to see the next chapter! :)
Blaire
Author's Response: That was exactly what I was thinking. It had to be Neville to deliver the portraits, because he understands Harry's deep need to speak with his parents. I am so glad you are enjoying this story.

Chapter: What Have We Done?
That's very sweet, at the end :) Again, all of this is so realistic - the fears that come when other mothers and fathers share their knowledge, Molly's outburst (very canon :)), and just everything. I love it, as always! Great job!
Blaire
Author's Response: Thanks again! I remembered all the horror stories that I heard when we were first pregnant. I loved using Audrey as the new mom trying to spread the misery around. Thanks so much for all your encouraging words.

Awww, this chapter is so adorable. I'm amazed at you - so far, you've written every stage of the pregnancy beautifully! The discovery, the sickness, the heartbeat... it's all very touching. A wonderful job! :D
Blaire
Author's Response: You're amazed? Wow! Thanks! My youngest is 2, so I didn't have to think back too far. I appreciate you reviewing so much!

Chapter: Battles and Bat Bogeys
Interesting, the way you bring back things that it turns out Harry's not quite over yet. Again, this is very good - the writing is funny at the right times and serious when it needs to be. Thoroughly entertaining, and wonderfully canon. And - I think I have an idea of who George might be 'entertaining' ;)
Blaire
Author's Response: Yes, I think there are some things that Harry might never be over, with a childhood like his. I try to lighten things up a bit occasionally, but I didn't want to dismiss some of his more serious emotions too easily. And I am sure you know who's with George. I really wanted to show him moving on with life. Thanks agiain.

Chapter: Surprises All Around
Wow! I do like the way you end your chapters. Always a surprise!
I love the way you wrote Hermione and Ron's reactions - especially Ron's. Everyone's characterizations are so good, and every bit of this is a ton of fun to read. I can't wait to see what happens with Astoria!
Blaire
Author's Response: Thakns! I alays loved Ron's overreacting when it came to Ginny. One more time couldn't hurt! Thanks for the review. Asteria (I liked the other spelling JK had on the lexicon for some reason) is going to be fun to write. She's not a major, major character, but she's important.

Chapter: A Change of Plans
I have to tell you, this isn't what I expected! I tend to stay away from pregnancy stories because they're often written unrealistically, but this is very good! What I've already noticed is that you write a very natural, realistic portrayal of Harry and Ginny's marriage. They're not lovey-dovey all the time, and they're not perfect. I also like how you weave in the past with the present, but lightly, to show that although Harry remembers all that happened, it doesn't haunt him. I really like this so far!
Blaire
Author's Response: I'm so glad this doesn't fit the 'usual pregnancy story' mold. I really tried to get Harry and Ginny to be real, and I am happy that you think that they are. Staying canon is a big deal to me, and I really thought that there was no way Harry would be over such a horrific childhood so quickly. He's going to deal with that for quite a while to come. Thanks so much for the great review.

Chapter: Battles and Bat Bogeys
I loved this chapter. I was dying laughing at George's reaction to the bat-bogey hex. I think you've done a very realistic character treatment of Harry and Ginny, and the emotions surrounding a first pregnancy for both the prospective parents. Great job.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I had to add George in there, and show that he's found life again. I did try to keep Harry and Ginny in character while remembering the emotions that abounded during my first adventure into parenthood. I am so glad you liked it. Thanks!

Chapter: A Change of Plans
I really enjoyed this chapter. Ah, yes, I vaguely remember those days. Of course, for me, pizza was all I could keep down - we ate it so often, my husband still doesn't request it.
You did a great job of capturing that time before a woman really finds out she's pregnant - just has odd symptoms.
I also really enjoyed the beginning of the chapter when Harry is watching Ginny sleep.
Very enjoyable chapter! Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the lovely review! I remember hating pizza when I was preggo, the smell of cooked sausage and grease just made me ill. I'm glad you thought it was believable. I should hope so, I have 4 girls! I appreciate the words of encouragement.

Chapter: What Have We Done?
Another wonderful chapter and so very, very true! I was laughing out loud at the stories Harry and Ginny were being fed, remembering hearing much the same thing when I was pregnant. Again, just a beautifully-written chapter that flows so easily with such natural-sounding dialogue and fantastic details. You're a very talented writer and this is by far one of my favorite stories. Oh, and I thought the delineation of the two conversations was very clear and easy to follow.
Author's Response: YAY! I struggled with this chapter, so you have no idea how much your positive feedback means to me! It seemed to keep getting more and more disjointed and large. Thank you for your sweet review! It makes me so happy to be one of your faves!

Oh, I'm loving this story. I've been quietly giggling the whole way through it so far. Thanks for the first 4 chapters and I look forwad to reading more. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter is giving me fits, so it may be a few more days before it's up. I am glad you are enjoying it. I am having a good time writing it!
