OH, wow, what a darling story! Quite unexpected!

As much as has been written about the 'Marauder Era', I don't think I've ever seen anything about Frank and Alice.

Frank was snogging Narcissa? Or did it just LOOK like that to Alice...Now THERE'S a whole other one-shot for you!

Oh, I get to review this BEAUTIFUL story again.  I'd have loved this story even if it weren't a birthday present.  I felt so much of you in this story.  I believe it may have been rather cathartic for you to write it.  I love the relationship between Alice and her grandmother and all the minor details you put into it.  I loved the description of the rain, I could hear it pitter pattering on *my* window while I read (figuratively of course).  Then the scene where she confronts him, and feels so inadequate... broke my heart, dear.  I've felt that before and I was quite moved.  Fantastic story, and I can't thank you enough for it!
