What gripping terror and grief. I do think you could have extended it a bit more, but you did a beautiful job with the emotions that Ginny goes through the night of the battle. You can feel the sheer exhaustion at the beginning, and the crushing despair at the end. Nicely done.

This was simply fabulous. I love that you found Neville's breaking point. The place where he'd had all he could stand of letting others push him around and feeling like he had no power. Trevor was the last straw. Ginny and Luna were perfect, and at the end they fell in right behind Neville. He took his rightful place as the other Boy Who Lived. Voldy should have feared them both.

This was a lovely, short insight into what might have been going through Ginny's mind during the final battle. I'm sure that she really did feel that her life was over when she saw Harry laying there helplessly. I'd like to see you take this a little further and show us her feelings when he showed up in the Great Hall again.
