Chapter: Dénouement
END?
END?
What's next? It can't end like this!
What a wonderful read it's been.
What more can I say? More!

Chapter: Determination
Sabotaging a potion to make sure she's not "safe"? wow! What a demonstration. Of course, they're going at it like they're already married! LOL.
Onward, all!
(I like that word,Holly!) ;-0

Chapter: A Discussion
Every chapter I read just surprises me even more. Draco punching Zabini in the mouth? Where did THAT come from? But it's a great scene. Wish I could up with stuff like that.

Chapter: Misjudgements
Another twist - Ginny trying to patch this up?! I never would have seen that one coming. The plot is just getting thicker than day-old Polyjuice, isn't it?!

Chapter: Misunderstandings
OH! Bad timing...
And things were just starting to iron themselves out, weren't they?
What a twist!
Just enough emotion to Ron, too, to not make it overly gushy and unbelievable. Well handled.

Chapter: Breaking News
Ouch.
What more can you say?
I really thought that Ron would be one to explode right off, but I was wrong.
Good handling of the situation so far. Now, what happens when they meet face to face? Great job!

Chapter: The Countdown
Good use of other characters in getting things set up. This makes the 'dread meeting' even more expected, and very well handled. Now for Ron's reaction? To quote Holly again, 'onward!' ;-)

Chapter: Unfinished Business
Excellent use of "patching things up" with Slughorn, and setting up the dread meeting. I am wondering how you're going to handle the "befriending of Malfoy" thing with Harry, et al without all hell breaking loose? THAT should prove to be a neat trick that I can't wait to see.
All in all, so far, "I" could NOT have pulled this one off as you have!

Chapter: Feeling Funky
“Gobshite. Don’t lie to me.” He was glaring at her. “If that was how you really felt, you wouldn’t have shown up last night.” What's a Gobshite? ;-) This is the line that just clinches it for me, so far. Foreshadowing is gone, the cat's out of the bag! Masterful handling, and our heroes are in trouble yet again. This is just an excellent capture of Hermione's confusion as well. Apparently, it takes a woman to write something like this! Excellent!

Chapter: A Clandestine Meeting
Once again, tasteful and even some comic relief! So it IS the 'neglect' on Ron's part. I can't help but wonder if Draco is serious, or just playing some devious game. Even this far in, we're still wondering at the mystery. Excellent!

Chapter: A Different Sort of Letter
Still more tension building, and handled in a masterful way. The letter was just class! I liked the part about Ginny seeing Ron's short letter, as well. Now we know the root of the problem. Or do we?

Chapter: More Confrontations
The next natural step, and again, tastefully done. I like the pace at which this relationship is proceeding. I'm just waiting for all h*ll to break loose when word gets out, and with Draco, you know it will!

Chapter: A Confrontation
OH MY!
What to say to this? I feel like the ickle Firstie who ran off when he saw it! Any other story, and I'd probably have nightmares about this for days. But it's so tastefully handled here. 10/10... very good job.

Chapter: Unusual Responses
Ouch! Is this a hint of a pending "Dear Jane" letter? The tension just keeps building, but it's building in a way that makes me want to keep going instead of giving up. Might as well say it now - 1 of 2 Dramione's that have ever read and liked - much less screamed at and ripped the mouse out of the PC!

Chapter: A Temporary Truce
So now we're getting set up for how Ron is going to react to all of this, and Hermione is worried about how people will talk. Draco is right of course-why should it matter, after what they've been through? Yet more great build up!

Chapter: A Class Spectacle
Carrying books! What a scandal. It just keeps slowly building, doesn't it? Of course, seeing this would be all the gossip-rage! However, it's so much better than the old "class is out, let's snog" routine.

Chapter: Speaking and Sleeping
Short, but to the point and loaded with foreshadowing. The suggestion of Hermione missing the House points was dead on. It hints very well at how the changes all around her are subtly getting to her.

Chapter: Detention For Two
A fitting detention for our heroes. I like the foreshadowing of how Slughorn is still miffed, and that things probably aren't going to turn out well at all for H&D. As Holly would say, 'onward'!

Chapter: Trouble Brewing
Slughorn the Walrus - I'd love to see it! This is a very good capture of a first class, and the description of feeling out of place is perfectly accurate. It lends to the feeling that not many of the kids that Hermione would have known over the last 6 years came back. Well done as always.

Chapter: An Unexpected Conversation
After all the unfamiliarity of the Opening Ceremonies, it was wonderful to see Malfoy acting like such a Slytherin. It was a constant in an all too rapidly changing world.-This is just a defining line, not only for this segment, but for the whole series. I love the way you've set up this AU so far, in a way that never would have occurred to me. A nice, slow introduction of our two heroes here works well, and not the "suddenly I love you and want to marry you" approach to Dramione that has turned me off of it for so long. Well done, as usual.

Chapter: Out of Place
This is a great start, and a very interesting take on who went back and who didn't. As you know, I've told you before that I meant to get around and really reading it and reviewing! I wish I hadn't let this gem go for so long. Very well done.

Chapter: Dénouement
*giggles*
And all ends on a happy note!! But yay!! What a fantastic story. You capture the drama well even though you have such short chapters. I'm very much impressed!!
Thank you for this story and for sharing it with me and Gluttony. I look forward to reading more from you and the other stories to this one :)

Chapter: Misjudgements
Well, of course she has to talk to him!! She can't just leave things as they are.
I can see how the situation looked bad and Draco really should have at least let Hermione explain. But I guess matters of the heart can make us a little blind ;)
