Okay, good chapter, but your spelling mistakes were driving me to distraction!

It's TRIALS, not trails - they are not hiking!

It's wear off not ware off.

and . .  they're not there!

AAGGHH!

Never mind, I had a long day at the office, so I jumped on these ( especially trails/TRIALS, as you did that about 6 times through the chapter )! But the weekend is here, so I'll only deduct 1 point from my rating for the spelling/grammar errors.

Not having a good day at all, is he?  James is being a prat, like his name-sake and Scorpius is watching and learning about the Potter/Weasley faction.

Interesting dynamics setting up here, so Let's continue and play along with the gang, shall we?

Albus . . . . it may be wonderful being a wizard, but grief is hard for anybody to work through and the wizarding world doesn't deal with it any better than Muggles.

Yes, this looks to be the start of a whole series of events which shape Albus into the extraordinary man he will become.

It's a marvel how your brain works to shield you from things, isn't it?

I like Aurora . . . I'm looking forward to seeing how she fits into all of this.  Very important part of the puzzle, if my guess is correct.

I love this chapter. It's heart wrenching that Marcus had to die... but it seriously set into motion the best epic HP related story ever. And, even better, the beginning of Al and Aurora. *loves*

Unfortunately, now begins the time when I have to hate Albus for a little bit, lol. He's such a jerk! Still love the story to pieces, but you made him SUCH a .... well, you know =P I'm glad I know why now, though... makes it easier to accept that someone so... Albusy... is so mean. *sigh* I love your stories. So much. You should write originals, you know. ^_^

Gosh. You know... rereading this is amazing, because I see little things that I didn't notice before that sort of play in to what happens later. *facepalm*

Some of my favorite parts in this series are the parts with Scorpius and Anya (and the rest of the family as well). It's just... so telling and so.. sad, really.

I love this story. I think I'm going to go recommend it on here now. :D YAY!

OMG, Sammy's here!!!!! *faints* :P

I can actually now review the story from start to finish!!!! Eeep!! OKAY! Here we go!!

I love you. LOL.

No, really. I love the very first scene of this story - it had such an impact on the story as a whole, it really, really draws in the reader and ... well, I couldn't stop reading it. It's amazing and enthralling.

And I love Scorpius's family. It's just... real, actually. I mean, at any family gathering, you get this sort of thing (only it's usually politics in my family... rather than wizards :P). It really brought a nice reality to the story.

Can't wait to review this entire thing! I'm so excited you're here! Welcome to Gluttony!! :D

Author's Response: Hey Jessi! ...So this is where you've been spending all your time :P I'm so glad that my horrible spelling and grammar hasn't put you off the story. I'm planning to go over everything I've written with a beta reader once my current story is done :D Everyone seems to love Scorpius...well, Scorpius, Hugo and the Bobs :P They seem to be favored.

Aurora . . . there's potential there . . . we'll see.

And some lunatic on the loose killinig off the remnants of the DEs.  Who almost knocks Harry off?!? . . . . now THAT must have been one helluva battle!

So, now we'll start seeing the rot set in, huh?  I can't wait!

Sweet Mary . . Mother of Pearl!

I'm sitting here . . . stunned . . . . and that's saying something!  I've read a ton and a half of fanfics, and loved an awful lot of them, and written an equal amount of reviews, but, honestly . . . I don't have the words . . .

I NEVER thought I'd give a rat's butt about the 'kids' and what happened to them . . .  well, maybe a passing interest, but, brother, you've changed my mind TOTALLY!

I was instantly sucked in by the intense conversation between Albus and "Mal".  What the . . . . had happened????  What in the world was going on?????? BLOODY HELL! ( I love that expression, it's SO useful!)

AND THEN, you jump ahead 70 years and we see Scorpius and his family and start to learn the details, going back to "beginning".  It's hard to see how Albus could have gained such a reputation, if what Scorpius is hinting about is true . . . . so to say I'll be riveted to this story for the forseeable future is the understatement of the month!!!!!  Maybe even the YEAR!!!!!

Okay, I'll wait and see . . . in the meantime, I'm going home where, hopefully, my copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard"  is waiting for me.  I used my prize - Amazon gift certificate - from the 'Review-athon, to preorder it and TODAY'S THE DAY!  Will continue later!

HE!HE!HE!

Author's Response: WOW! Horay! I figuered out how to respond! I knew it had something to do with that little button marked 'Respond' :P Anyway, thank you sooo much! I'm really glad that you like it! The story is pretty epic and I wanted to show that in the first chapter. I'm also very happy that the timeline switching wasn't too confusing. The world is a very different place in the future :P The good news is that I'm up to Chapter 13 on the 3rd story in this series so you won't have to wait for new uploads (at least not after we sort out the submittion problems) Thanks again! :D
