Actually, I really liked it! I think Draco and Harry could have been friends if the circumstances had been just a tad different. But that would have ruined JKR's plans and left you with no song-fic!

I really liked this story. The verses in the song really fit into the context of the story. I also loved how the second generation Malfoys, Potters, Weasleys got a chance to relive the scene on the train with the trolley cart and the candy scene. Too cute!!

And Albus, who feared being placed in Slytherin at Platform 9 & 3/4, decided to make the choice to be in Slytherin because a friend needed him. Makes you think, if Harry had chosen that route, could he have changed things for Malfoy earlier on?

I already know the parchment is a letter Harry wrote to Malfoy years earlier, but why was it never opened? If you were to reveal it's contents now, what would it say? Will Draco ever read this letter?

Anyway, great job, again!!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, and the proofing help, gnilworkj. I've given some thought to what the letter might say, and why Draco never read it, but I doubt that I'll be exploring that - at least, not any time soon.
