Chapter: Dust
I am new to this site and this is the first story of yours I have read. I realise it dates back a few years but I enjoyed it very much, it was very well plotted, well written and ingenious. I'm off to read more of your stuff now.
Many Blessings.

Author's Response: Thank you! I am glad you found it (somehow?) and enjoyed it. This was probably the most difficult story for me to write. I hope you enjoy all of the great authors here as well.

Holly Ilex told me to read this because it is superbe. and i must agree this story is well worded, full of detail, and quite a story that you have dreamed up. i look forward to reading all of your other stories and i'm dying to find out what will happen with albus, scorpius and the whole gang.
plus, i absouletly loved how you started the story. i was guessing who it was and well... i loved it!
great job.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, and thank Holly (I'm sure she'll read this! HEHEHE!) ;-) I'm glad you enjoyed it. The story continues in "Reality Is Bleeding," and on further into "One of Our Own". Thanks again.

What a satisfying (and unexpected) ending ;)
I had a little trouble untangling the storyline at first. I wonder whether you've thought of expanding this into a multi-chapter story and giving the shifts in time a little more space to develop. (just a suggestion)
I thought your portrayal of Draco's grief was very in-character and realistic. I also liked your portrayal of the Malfoys as a loving and happy family before Voldemort's return.
Author's Response: Thanks, SP.
I hadn't thought about expanding this one, or breaking it into chapters. The sequel to it is rapidly getting out of control! I'm glad you found the portrayal of Draco's grief realistic. That's what I was hoping for.
Wow! It was a long story, but the details were so well placed and built the story step by step. You had to have those intricately placed touches to help the reader see what Draco saw and feel what he felt. The raw emotion really gripped me. Really, this is so well done. And original! I see time travel fics, but they are usually the 'Hermione hooks up with a Marauder' drivel that make me want to gouge my eyes out. This was fantastic. Excellent story.
Author's Response: Wow...thanks for that one! Don't know what to say. I guess if you read the "Author of the Month Page" here, you'll see where it came from. Also, check your PM's on EHPF - I sent you something. I hope...

Chapter: Dust
At first, you think this is a reflection of a man who lost his son and all that was his life. When you lose a child it's as though the world stops. You think, why of course, then wonder what could and should have been, had the child lived.
Luckily for these characters, they are wizards. He was able to change things. Change the cause, change the outcome, make improvements because you know the old saying, 'if I only knew then what I know now.' Nice little twist as it makes you also reflect back to SS and wonder, if only Harry had befriended Malfoy-but then the story would have changed and I liked how it turned out. There are so many times in our own lives in which one wishes they could go back and change things, me included of course. We might not be wizards capable of changing the past, but we can change the future. I'll settle for that. Great story, great reflection.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Glad you liked it. I'm sure we all have our own regrets like "If I knew then..."; I know I do.

BRILLIANT! . . .BLOODY FRIGGIN' BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
This is, hands down, the best 'redemption' story I've ever read . . and I'm talking 15 different fanfic sites!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, deep breath, calm down, relax . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Seriously, I couldn't have stopped reading this story if the house was on fire!!!! I was crying, laughing, gasping, cheering, you name it. ( Good thing nobody was home when I was so 'involved' in the goings on! )
Draco, the last person to receive his 'second chance' and the best bit is he'll REALLY be aware of how lucky he is!
BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!
Author's Response: Gee, I don't know what to say? :-) Thank you! I'm glad your house didn't catch fire, too! ;-) Seriously, uhhh, thanks again! (red blushing smilie here)
Author's Response: Uhm, let's see if this clears it off of 'unresponded'? Thanks again.
Sorry! My fault . . I copied, deleted, pasted and did some typo correction and that must have put it back in the unresponded box. Oops! (Crap, just did it again, as I had spelled correction wrong!)
