Chapter: Chapter 1
How sweet. I agree that Severus would be so unused to 'treats' that they would be too different for him. I loved the interaction between Lily and Petunia, however brief. It is soooo sisterly of them. The 'accidental' foot stepping incident is funny. It is nice to think that at some time in his life, someone took notice of Severus Snape's birthday. Good job.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you caught all of the details and ideas I was trying to portray in this short story. I just thought that Severus must have spent at least one of his birthday's with Lily. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Awwwww
This was just adorable. A tiny glimpse into a moment that could have happened, that I wished happened!!!
I love that you involved Lily's family and that for this one moment...There is a peace about them.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Elena. It means a lot to me that you "wished" this moment had happened. That's a real compliment. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Cheers!

One word - moving.
And for a grumpy old man, that's saying something! 10/10
Author's Response: Thank you grumpy old man, I take that as very high priase. Congratulations on winning the Christmas competition! I am honored to have the winner of a writing competition, compliment my writing. Cheers!

Chapter: Chapter 1
What a sweet little scene and I'm sure it's one of Severus' favorite "bitter-sweet" memories, of the sweets Mrs. Evans placed in front of him. ( sorry about the pun )
I have a sudden craving for Christmas cookies. Excuse me, I'll be back in a bit!
HE!HE!HE!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Holly. I appreciate you reading and reviewing my work. I'm glad you think it is a realistic cannon-like memory for Severus (pun and all). Hope the cookies are good, if you need anymore we are stuffed to the gills here. 'Tis the season for cookie parties and cookie tins! Happy Holidays.
