Chapter: Chapter 1
It's been five years, and this story has lost NONE of its power. George Bailey would be pleased, with Dobby as his Clarence.

Chapter: Chapter 1
I thought that it was a great comparison to the movie.I feel the same way able rons influence and i think you potrayed it brillently ( and i cant spell for crap haha)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it. I do think Ron gets overlooked a lot, and that he felt that way most of the time in the books. Without him, Harry and Hermione kind of fell apart, and a friend challenged me to write what would have happened if he'd never been there. It's my favorite movie of all time, so I'm happy to hear you think I did it justice! Welcome to Gluttony, by the way!~GW

Oh my dear, you absolutely did the storyline of "It's a Wonderful Life" justice...you more than did it justice because I've honestly never liked the movie and I LOVED this story. Poor Ron, always in everyone's shadow, not even realizing how vital he is to Harry and Hermione and his family. Good ol' Dobby. Beautifully written and very moving.
Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It turned out a lot darker than I originally thought. Each event just kind of snowballed into the other. You know my feelings for Ron. He's always so underappreciated. Thanks for the wonderful review! And what is this with everyone not liking my movie? HOW is it Christmas without Georgie Bailey running through town screaming "Merry Christmas"? Almost everyone who reviewed the challenge hated this film. Interesting.

I loved this story and how you wove the details of DH into it. Like his wounded fingers and escaping from the Snatchers. You need that little detail in order for the illusion of him never having been born to work just like the original WL "Your lip isn't bleeding anymore George" And once he came back hearing Hermione call his name through the Dilluminator- brilliant!! And I just loved Dobby as the angel character. I always loved Ron's character. Being the youngest of 9 myself, it's easy to relate to his feelings of being the forgotten child. You always want to stand out in some way and how can you when everyone before you already did it? I shot for the good grades and the Honor Roll. No one before me ever did that!! But you know you just have to be yourself because your family and friends always love you no matter what.
This is definately a very Magical Wonderful Life!!
Author's Response: Like I said, you were the inspiration here. I don't know that the idea would have come to me without you! I really wanted to make it as believable as possible, so I had to go back and do my research in DH and try to include as many details as I could. I admit, drawing the analogy between the fingers and George's lip were to good to pass up. It did turn out a lot darker than I originally planned. The more I thought about it, the more I realized HOW important Ron was to the Trio and the wizarding world. I am glad you think I did the idea justice. Thanks again, Judy! Merry Christmas!
