Reviews For Reverie

This is a heartwarming story written in a very tricky style called 'stream of consciousness'. I don't even know how I managed oversee it until now.

Your Luna is marvellous, slightly loony, tender and loving and highly lovable herself. You own her character like no other fanfic writer does. Needless to say that you have been inspiring me to write her all this time.

I loved that small bit when the gift was tempting Luna to open it. And, we got some valuable insight into Luna's life after the Battle, well, according to canon. I think JKR should include all of this story into her "missing 19 years" book she will never write.

Author's Response:

Um, I'm sorry I didn't notice this review earlier, Z.  I set out to write this story deliberately in that style as an experiment for myself and I liked the result enough to post it.  I knew I had to write it in Luna's voice, too.

I'm glad you liked it and found her to be IC.  I know I've felt the same way as Luna with a gift tempting me to open it, but never a magical gift that literally called to me with memories.

I also set about trying to make it a canonical-compliant story on purpose.  I'm so glad you like my characterisations of Luna and that she's inspired you.   I'm very flattered and blushing; I just wish I felt more like writing lately.

Thanks again for the very nice review and kind words.

I just wanted to share the review here as well. Lovely Luna tale. I loved it.

Author's Response: Thanks very much.  It definitely wasn't the story I set out to write, but it's where my free-writing took me and I was pleased with it.  Congratulations to you on your win for the Christmas Challenge, it was well deserved.
