Back for the second chapter and loving it. Got some questions right away; most probably they WILL be answered later, yet, I simply HAD to ask :D

1. What had happened to Ron? Did he die? I can't imagine anything else causing them pain when talking about him...
2. Harry and Hermione aren't a pair, yet..are they? There's some tension, some electricity around them; more charged than in any of the books. Those "her hands found his" etc are a clear sign.
3. Who made the prophecy about Amadeus? Somebody we already know?

I'm intrigued beyond measure. Yeah, one more thing. Not a single grammar boo-boo, at least nothing I could spot. That's good. Very good.

Certainly not going to hate you. I'm always all in for an intelligently written Harry/Hermione story. For some strange reason, I could never imagine Harry ending up with the Pygmy Puff LOL.

The idea is certainly original and your OCs are - for now - developed perfectly. Amadeus does seem to bear a strange resemblance to one Severus Snape...

The language is spotless, the descriptions perfect. This is really nice to see! I see you've already corrected the typo I've pointed out earlier.

Also, the dialogues all over were pretty much in style with the sort one can expect from agitated, excited 11-year old children.

Nice job, I will certainly be following this story. Here as well.
