Where's the "Dog Whisperer" when you need him? HA!HA!
That 'little voice' has me a bit worried, but I'm sure all will be revealed in the coming chapters.
I like the chance to get to know Blaise and Dudley is the perfect foil for him . . . and vice versa.
Only one small boo-boo: "and soon midnight was vastly approaching." . . . I think you meant " and midnight was fast approaching."
Look forward to more! Story that is!
HE!HE!HE!
LOL Dog Whisperer, I wonder if even he could handle this doggy :D The voice will be explained soon enough and I am glad you like how I partnered Dudley with Blaise. I wanted someone that Dudley might not be able to bully around and Blaise came to mind.
Glad you liked this much. I am going to work on more of the story. Will be updating soon! :D Thanks again!
I like Blaise and this is getting better and better by the minute!
Yeah, NOW you read the fine print!
HE!HE!HE!
I'm glad you like Blaise and yes the fine print is important to read :D Thanks again for reading and reviewing!
That was really funny.
Men, they NEVER bother reading the instructions, do they? Much less the fine print!
HE!HE!HE!
True, they never do read instructions because most think they can do it all by themselves. LOL!
Well, from one extreme of emotions to the other; this whole morning has been a real roller coaster ride for old Dudders, hasn't it?
Will someone show up and save him or will Petunia come home to a zombie?
Only way to find out is to keep going. . . so, it's on to the next chapter!
HE!HE!HE!
Yes, it has been quite the roller coaster ride so far hehe. And you will see what happens soon! :)
Okay, I forgot to mention in previous chapters that I thought the backstory about the little girl he saw during the dementor attack was a good idea. Also, in last chapter I love this line about Vernon: "It was almost as if he were trying to wipe away every, single memory of Harry and every speck of the past."
This chapter is quite intriguing as well. I am liking the direction the plot is moving in... Maybe he will be able to somehow get "Floppy" to Aunt Marge's and try out his experiment a little more. Vernon and Petunia's reactions over this will be money! However, I'm thinking they might not find out right away.
Hehe Glad you liked this one. The story is starting to pick up a bit more and hope you enjoy the ride! Thank you again for your reviews!
Ah yes, this chapter was a bit bland so I needed to wake everyone up and make the readers wonder what is going on lol. You noticed I gave him some Slytheriny type of behaviors- I'm glad you picked up on them. I wanted something like that. I'm sure you will see what happens in the next chapter.
Hehehe This story was one I wrote to be a long but meaningful story. Dudley has a lot of adventure to go on. Thanks again for reviewing.
It was hard getting him just right because I had to be careful not to try to turn him into 'Harry' but also make him grow as a character without being too drastic. Thanks again :)
Thanks so much, I appreciate your review. It took a bit to get this story together and so when I started writing it, I felt that throwing in some humor was a good idea along with a different presentation of the Dursleys. Yes, I insisted on adding Blaise because he is one of my favorite lesser known characters.
Luckily, only a dream with the Dementor.
I would have loved to bee there to see Dud's face when he opened the box and saw a three-headed dog.
I always have questions, here's one as well: Fluffy was about the size of a rhino in the second book. How come he was so small then? or I just missed something?
This was HI-LA-RI-OUS!!!
It was more of a filler chapter, but ending it with a cliffhanger the size of Mount McKinley was simply awesome. Dementors again? I thought the war was over...
Brilli-brillliant :D
Back home, which for one of the Dursleys feels no home any more.
Brilliantly written letter, by the way. Your dialectization is superb! What I don't understand is why would Hagrid send a letter to Harry to Privet Drive knowing that he ain' livin' there no more?
Wonderful characterization of the Dursleys, all three of them. This chapter also marks the beginning of the changes in Dudley I'd mentioned in my previous review.
Very nicely, literately written stuff. I enjoyed every word.
Ohhh... this will be serious fun. I still remember Vernon's previous encounters with the M word :D Well, at least his encounters with the Wesleys were always ... interesting, to say the least.
I wonder what brings Blaise Zabini into the Ministry. I hope the Ministry is not lacking manforce THAT much that it's forced to hire Slytherins.
Also, as it seems, Dudley has grown up and he might have changed a bit towards the M folks during their year-long hiding.
Hello :) Well I have to say that this story was very hard to start. It was a challenge to myself to write out of my comfort zone lol. So yeah, it's kind of a strange but unique type I think. I wrote Blaise in because he didn't get a lot of attention in the books and is one of my favorite characters. I didn't want to use Draco or any of the other Slytherins because I wanted a certain type of character that wasn't so rooted in the story. While Blaise doesn't care for muggles I wrote him to not be as prejudiced as Draco. I also needed a character that would work well for the whole story and so I picked him.
I tried to make Dudley grow up some but still keep the part of him that makes him Dudley hehe! Thanks for reading and reviewing and wow I have more reviews from you? Hehe yaay I will go respond to those too! Thank you again for your review!
OMG!
Dud doesn't have a cllue and this could prove very interesting and VERY funny!
Update soon!
HE!HE!HE!
Well, at least something positive came out of that dememtor attack . . . even though it seems like mental torture to Dudley now, if he talks to Harry or even Arthur about it, he'll see it was a good thing and he'll be able to use that knowledge to start down a new path in his life . . .
speaking of new paths, there's another chapter waiting!
ONWARD!
Oh dear, I sense trouble on the horizon, if Arthur and Dudley spend too much time together; each pumping the other for information about the their world.
Once the Dursleys are back in their house, I bet DUdley has a "yard sale " of his old stuff, with Arthur, in exchange for being allowed to "learn" about the wizarding world.
OH dear, oh dear, we could be in trouble . . . but it sounds like fun!
HE!HE!HE!
