Okay, after a little thought:
The first part . . I had a sneaky suspicion that "Mr. Donovan " was Draco, but the rest left me speechless . . not any easy feat!
Minor boo-boo: hesitantly pacing . . restlessly would work better.
Okay - the flashback:
Sweet Mary, Mother of Pearl, what a disasterous revelation for Hermione, but what a relief for Draco. He handled it as well as he could under the circumstances and now I see where their relationship started . . . now the story will be how their lives disintegrated as they did.
I feel, however, that the trail from point A to point B is NOT going to be a straight line, huh?
Oh, and "smiling at the waitress, standing at their desk??? they're not at Hogwarts any more. I think you meant table?!?!
This is really good!!!!! "More, please?"
Of course you had this suspicion. Our minds work on a wnderfully similarly twisted way :D
It's AU all the way; no canon, nothing cozy book-feeling, only pain and suffering instead. It's the time when the skeletons are coming out of the closet. You are quite right, it's where they'd started and it will be a painful way until the very end. Well, whenever I make up my mind how 5 needs to be written.
Thanks for the corrections, gotta change them in a sec.
OH! Thank goodness, Harry didn't kill the little girl. I was worried sick: guess it's the Mom-mom in me.
Great chapter, and I loved the back story about Harry and Susan. . . . HE!HE! That rascal!
SO, we're about to be set off on a trail of twists and turns. . . . goody, goody, I love how your mind works.
Harry and Hannah and Susan and Neville and both Ginervas and Hermione, of course. Oh, and Ron, I suppose . . . ( has HE been looking for Hermione? )
One boo-boo: interieur should be spelled interior. I know, I know, you Old World types like to stick ou and eu in all sorts of words: colour, favour, etc. but I'll forgive you. HE!HE!HE!
Okay, ONWARD!!!!!
I told you, it's AU. Harry can be dead, a rascal, a bad guy, whatever in my universe.
I'm always in for some twists and turns; it won't be different this time as well.
Luckily, Ginevra's OK, I can't kill off a girlie, can I? I'm a dad meself... Just read on when the next chapter's validated. Some of the questions will be answered in chapter four, for some you will have to wait somewhat longer. I'm not sure though how many chapters there will be, I guess around 10-12.
Thanks for your forgiveness and continued support and no, I won't give up my Queen's English :D
OOPS!
This is NOT going to end well, is it? I can't think of any smart a$$ed remarks to make, or puns, or double entrendre . . . it's just to shocking and sad and talk about your basic 'being in the wrong place at the wrong time' scenerio.
So, I'll just wait for the next chapter and see if Harry's famous reflexes save the day. . . .and /or the little girl.
my shock wore off so I got 1 in after all!
HE!HE!HE!
And a big OOPS it is indeed...
It IS a rather heavy story, which, hopefully, will make some more readers muse things over.
Again, I hit AU, and again, I have carte blanche, so I could just as well give free run to my twisted mind. There will be more shocks and surprises, so stay tuned!
You weren't yourself, had you failed to have at least one go at the end, were you? HE!HE!HE!Okay, this looks to be the start of another of your neat little stories. . . . my only question is, now that I've re-read the prologue, do we know her father? Is he a canon character or an OC of your's?
Otherwise, great start, looking forward to more. . . .
Your faithful reader . . . me
HE!HE!HE!
My dearest faithfullest reader :D
We do know her father and we do know her mother as well. Both of them are canon characters.
I want to make it a rather dark story where most of the canon heroes show their different, to us unknown sides. Will not be a happy one, until the last sentence. But the last sentence, I can promise you that, WILL BE HAPPY. The eternal optimist, I am.
