Actually, this was a great way of filling in that little time gap and give the details of what happened to the Creevey brother during the battle.

Good blending of the 'canon' parts, song and your own delightful story ( everyone really SHOULD read that one, it's a hoot! )

A Horcrux of Light is a brilliant and refreshingly new idea! I had plans on a Colin story that I never could quite get off the ground. Now, I don't know that I should. Yours is simply wonderful. The details about Snape's treatment of the students, and how he paid Colin and rewarded him for restoring Lily's picture before placing a Confidentiality curse on him was spot on. The pain of the brothers' separation was well done, and the imagery of the war and Colin's brutal death was tragic. Excellent story.

Author's Response: Thank you, Georgia! I hope you finished New Marauders first, though??? By all means, don't let this deter you from writing a Colin story. I see so few of them out there.

I know I've already reviewed ths, but I want to suggest that you take this and run with it. Show how Colin adjusted to his "new" life, having and older younger brother as well as other things like working out what the heck happened to him. There must be some things, information and such that will tell Colin that he wasn't just "in a coma".
