What an absorbing little tale, with great descriptive phrasing and if it wasn't February, I'd probably had to wipe my brow in empathy . . . so, that's one little scene in what would be a line of memnories for Severus . . but not necessarily Lily.
Well done.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially the description. I've been trying to improve my description recently.
I think it's a perfect capture of Severus and Lily at this age. It's perfectly canon, with Sev's father, Petunia being a b**ch to Lily, and the angst of that first childhood crush that isn't returned. It's just excellent, and so very moving. 10.
Thank you! ^^ I find it so hard to write children- even though I am closer in age to them than adults, they do not come naturally to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it- I'm a canon freak :P. Thanks so much for the awesome review! :D
Aww, thank you!
I'm new to writing Lily/Sev- it's something that I most likely won't try again, but I'm glad I didn't ruin the ship or something :P. The innocence of Lily and Severus is something which greatly interests me- it's so heartbreaking that they will lose it one day. As you say, things are done that can't be undone.
Thanks so much for the lovely review! :D
