One of the things that I love about validating is coming across a story that I probably wouldn't have read, but then discovering it's a gem shining out.
This story is beautiful and touching without being melodramatic and over-the-top. It catches a slice of life, and does it well. It's true and unflinching and a bit cinema verite.
