TARYN!!! oh mygoodness, I LOVE IT. Okay. Anyone will tell you how much I HATE Ron in fanfiction - I've started a club to kill fanfic Ron. But... I just CAN'T hate him when he's written right. This is PERFECT Ron. Very canon and very.. just... *sigh* I sure hope that when I'm old and wrinkley with grey hair and crows feet, my man says something to me like that. Granted, I'd probably slap him around the head if he made that comment about my breasts =P But that's because I'm a prude =P

LOVE it. I'd love to see even more Ronmione from you like this. I guess I should read more of your stories, huh?

Just. perfect. *loves*

Author's Response: How did I miss this?  Thank you Jessi!  This is the way I picture Ron... he's not always a bumbling idiot (of course he is *sometimes* but all boys are, because BAS.  I'm hoping that my "Mr. Right" will feel the same way about my flaws in the future ;o).  And please *do* read my other stories.  :o)

FOR ONCE IN HIS LIFE< RONALD WEASLEY GETS IT TOTALLY< BEAUTIFULLY RIGHT! BRAVO RON!

We should all have a hubby that knows how to deflect our self doubts about our aging and how we percieve it.

Really nice little fic and I liked ROn's reasons for all the grey haris and the rest of it too.  And off the top of his head, too!

WHo is this guy and what has he done with Ron?

HE!HE!HE!

Author's Response: This Ron has been living with Hermione for the past 20 years and has made his fair share of mistakes and learned from them... at least this time, lol.  Thanks for reading! :o)

Oh, to have my man say this to me! Ron somehow got a clue after being married to Hermione for 20 years. Maybe she rubbed off on him? You know, being together that long can do that to a couple. This was wonderful, thanks!

Author's Response:
Awww!  Thank you!  And I agree, after 20 years of marriage I think Ron would have learned a few things about the right thing to say to his wife.  Thank you so much for reading this story!  :o)

Taryn, I can't believe I haven't read this already. It's absolutely gorgeous - it's definitely become one of my favorite Ron/Hermione fics ever. It's written so simply and so well, and even though it's a bit of a tear-jerker in a sweet way(at least for me; was I the only one to tear up a little?), it has the most wonderful, playful end that finishes it off beautifully. :) I absolutely love it, Taryn!

Author's Response: Thanks, Blaire!  I didn't mean to make you cry *hands over tissues*.  I'm glad you liked the end.  This one is full of romance and sappiness, but I love it.  :o)

This my dear- simply fabulous. Made me feel like Ron was on his chess piece knight again, fighting off the despair growing up (and older) makes.

I remember looking at my mom while I was growing up. The grey hairs, lines and the 'ageness' of her hands. I've so far only gotten the pronounced blood veins in my hands- but I see it oh so well. It's not the outside that's important- it's the youth inside.

(That make sense?)

Great story dear.

Author's Response: I thought you might appreciate this one ;o). I like how you compare it to Ron playing chess, one of the things he's good at. Thanks for reading! :o)

Hello Taryn,

As I mentioned, the best thing about this site is that I get to read and review all of your stories again. So here goes.

When I reread this, I was reminded of the time I was driving somewhere with my mother in the car, and all of a sudden she said to me, "Do you realize how much more gray hair you have since your daughter started talking?" The funny thing was, she was right!

I think its wonderful the way you convey that even though Hermione still has concerns about her appearance, she is in fact the most beautiful woman in the world. Or the only world that matters: Ron's world. For she is his world, and his life. How wonderful to have such a relationship.

I'm working on a songfic where Ron and Hermione don't get to live happily ever after; at least, not together. It's nice to read something where they do.

Nicely done, as always.

~Doug

Author's Response: Thanks again, Doug. One of my favorite lines from Everybody Loves Raymond is when Deb is lamenting about her bust line heading south and said something to the effect of "These were WORKING breasts." LMAO! I had no hope in the grey department, my grandmother was completely grey around 26 and my dad by about 35...I'm actually doing pretty good, LOL. rnrnI'll have to check out your song fic when you get it done, but Ron and Hermione NOT together? Say it isn't so. I love Gluttony, too, I'm already a DA here and get to post my stories as soon as I'm done with them.
