Well, even though no one got blown up, no explosions, no blood and gore and body parts flying in every direction (what's Christmas without all the violence?!...LOL!) I'm giving this charming little piece a 10! It's nice to see someone blessing the Longbottom's with a child. Wouldn't it be a hoot if it were a boy who was a Magical Prodigy? ;-)
Author's Response: I've recently become so attached to Neville. But for Voldemort's choices, it could have been him in Harry's shoes. He endured a lot of the same losses and treatment, except he had a little more nurturing and a lot less attention. In the end, he became a hero anyway. I like giving him and Harry both the family they deserve. Glad you like it! And that gives me an idea....~GW
