What an interesting angle for looking at Herminoe BEFORE the letter from Hogwarts gets there . . . I bet she did have little things like this happen all the time . . . and without a clue as to what was the cause . . . poor baby.'

This is also a good explaination as to the easy acceptance of Hermione's gifts by her parents when the letter does arrive ( and the representative from the Ministry of magic, who explained everything to them )

Bravo!

Terrific story,

I Never thought about what it was like to be the muggle parent of a witch or wizard.

I know, I saw the HP movies, but it isn't thee same.

You have captured Perfectly the Father / Princess relationship.

OhmygodOhmygodOhmygod.

Continue like this and you will be my new favourite writer at GF. Where on Merlin's saggy underwear do you take all these brilliant ideas from???

This was an awesome, touching, sweet dad/daughter interaction. I somehow recognized myself a bit; I have a daughter turning five pretty soon, so I might be just slightly biased towards your little story here, in a positive way.

I've always wondered how the Grangers had reacted on the very first time Hermione started exhibiting magic. They must have been scared to their pants, that's for sure, and explanation wouldn't come up until her eleventh birthday.

The frenzy of the last few chapters did justice to the awe of the moment, the cake floating in mid-air, commanded by Hermione's spontaneous outburst of raw magic.

Bravo. A wonderful "Missing Moment" story and an instant favourite.
