So, Muggles can't see the dragon poison around the wounds. Interesting. I'm also assuming they're dying of dragon fever.
I wonder if Charlie will come up with a potion for that, for Emilia to administer to the dogs and save a few of them.
Bailey reminded me of Z (short for Zion) our Rottie that died last year at the grand old age of 12. He'd shake all over, too, for a treat. Put it on his nose and he'd flip it up and snatch it "before you could say Quidditch"!

Bummer about the Bezoar...it was too good to be true. I have faith that Charlie will have his fair Emilia healthy again. He's got Hermione and the others helping him. I really liked the notes on the dragons, they seem so like something a dragon keeper would have lying around. Love how Talia found them. Maybe it'll make him telling her about magic easier for her to take.

As soon as I started writing him, I knew there was more to him, more than the short tempered guy who just demanded Charlie around. I really didn't realize what I wanted to do with him until a bit later on, but it all came together and I got to make him a nicer guy. Okay... so he's going to tell Talia what's going on... but then he's going to have to Obliviate her, because of the statute of secrecy, right? This chapter seemed a little more forced, but probably because it didn't revolve around Charlie and Emilia. It's more of a filler chapter I think.

The next chapter will reveal more, and I probably should have combined this chapter and the next one together, as they both are kind of filler chapters. Bezoar to the rescue again! Thank goodness someone was paying attention in potions class. Hermione tended to get too focused on the solution here, and not pay enough attention to the fact that this is a human's life. She's all about the information and solutions, not a people person. Lucky Emilia has Charlie watching out for her. Great chapter!

Wow! So the pieces of the puzzle fall together. This isn't what I expected! Though I had my suspicions - Linnie's memory of the injection showed that something was definitely wrong - I never thought it would be this bad! And - does the fact that the dog was infected by it mean that Emilia will be hurt as well? Oh no! Ergh, this story's stressful to read, haha! I'm reading on right away!

This gets more and more interesting. I like that it DOESN'T happen right away - the confusion both Emilia and Charlie feel is very true to each of their characters. And the ending - I might be reading a bit more into that then I'm meant to. But either way, very interesting. I wish I could read more right now, but I've got to get to bed!
