Hello members :)

Today is Gluttony's second month of operation and we're growing stronger by the day. I understand reviews are low, but as the members pick up, so will those reviews, so please don't be discouraged.

With that being said, I have started to jot down ideas for Gluttony's first competition. Part of that Competition will be a 'Review-a-thon'. So, please stay tuned for more details about the competition and prizes.

Also, I'll be choosing new Author's to be featured this month. If you feel an author or even yourself, deserve to be recognised, then pop on over to the forums to make a suggestion as to who should be featured.

Also, remember that Gluttony was made to share your stories and be a place you can relax and have some fun. So if there is anything YOU want to see happen on the site or any thing else that will make your time here more enjoyable, then please don't hesitate to drop me a line and make a suggestion, or go to the forums and make the suggestion there :)

Oooo, look at that!!! Wanna know how many stories are in the Queue? Look where the Site Info panel is on the skin you have chosen and it'll be there!!!

Please be VERY careful what you say and where. Places like HPFF and other sites deem it Spam if you advertise other sites without permission and/or PM people asking them to check out sites.

While I appreciate the help spreading the word, I do not want YOU getting into trouble at other sites. You still have loyal readers who need you to be there :)

You may now RPG over at Temperance, the forum for Gluttony. The RPG is HP based and for Original characters only. You may either RP your OC in or for a story, to help develop that character or make up a new character to just have some RP fun.

To participate in this, please sign up on the forums to read the rules and register a character.

I have added in the more popular and Canon ships to the Classifications lists. You may edit your story by ship now...Have fun :)

If there is a ship that I have missed, you may suggest it to me and if I feel it's needed, I'll add it!!!

I have added a formatting tutorial. This tutorial shows the correct way of using formatting on Gluttony as well as how to set and use the tinyMCE text editor so you may copy and paste your formatted text to Gluttony and not have to insert the code yourself. Also, I have added in an image button to the tinyMCE editor for ease of adding in banners without using the code.

Yes, it is my birthday today and to celebrate, I am being totally selfish :)

Yes, I am adding a NEW RULE to Gluttony, one that was made to suit myself, but may benifit others. Yes, you heard me right, I am pulling rank, being spoiled and selfishly evil! But since you all rock, I'm sure you'll all understand ;) If not...Oh well??

NEW RULE: Rule 20 - posting the same story more then once is generally forbidden on most archives. This rule still applies to Gluttony, but with one exception. Some of us re-write and change stories completely, even though they keep the same/similar plot. I am now allowing original versions and edited/changed versions of stories to be posted. Only one revised copy may be posted and the changes must be significant enough to warrant a new version of the story to be re-posted

After about a week offline, I'm happy to be back. Welcome to all the new members who have joined up and hopefully, in time, I'll be able to attract some more new members. If any of you like what you see here, please don't hesitate to spread the word about Gluttony, however, if you are a member of other places with forums, please take note of their spamming rules. Some places consider PMs like "Check out this site" as Spam. I do not want anyone getting into any trouble!

Gluttony is now officially open to everyone. I hope everyone has fun here and I look forward to seeing new members signing up :)

I changed hosting companies, unfortunatly, my old hosting company was trying to fix an error for me and ended up wiping out my database without informing me and didn't back it up. So I lost some members and their stories/reviews.

I am VERY sorry this has happened and I will make sure I keep regular backups in case anything like this happens again.

Also, due to the change, some of you may experience problems accessing the site. Please try and empty your cookies and cache as your browser may be holding onto the old information and not accessing the new server.
